“Fantastic experience 8 star treatment ”
Well where do I start I have never experienced such exceptional service as Egypt tours portal gave me and my friends we were looked after from start to finish, I read reviews from trip advisor and came to a conclusion to email Ahmed Sameer from Egypt tours travel a month before we were to go on holiday, I was surprised how fast I got the reply back with all the information I asked, I then had a good feeling that me and my friends were in good hands and how right were we. Me and friends can’t speak highly of Egypt tours portal we were looked after very well by Mohammed Hussain in Luxor, his English and knowledge about Egyptology was astounding we had a full day out to all the sites incl. temple of Hatshepsut and the valley of the Kings where we visited three tombs, we then had lunch by the Nile which we loved to bits after lunch we visited few temples such as Karnak and Luxor temple our guide he was very informative and always wore a smile which made everything easier to understand and enjoyable we then were taken to our 5 star hotel for the night by the river Nile literally with breathtaking views. We got picked up early by a driver and taken to luxor airport to fly to Cairo where we were met by halemooo Ahmed he greeted us with such love and respect we were made to feel at home right from the start with our driver Ismail we set off on a day visiting the pyramids and all that Cairo has to offer, we were in Cairo for two days I highly recommend you do that as you can see more. our guide halemooo was very informative with his knowledge of Egyptology and how and what the ancient Egyptians did and how, me and my friends really warmed up to him and started asking him questions loads of questions which he answered with ease and within our understanding. We went to visit Memphis & saqqara the first pyramid to be built in Egypt loved how halemooo told us everything we needed to know about this wonderful place, we then headed to old Cairo city to visit the hanging church which was very well preserved a church from 4 AD then we visited a synagogue next to the church where we were shown where Moses basket was found we walked to Amr ibn elaas mosque where we performed the noon prayer as we are Muslims and it was time then halemooo told us that it was the first mosque to be built in Africa and the Middle East. The church the synagogue and the mosque were all beautiful buildings all within next to each other so peaceful as well if there was a place where diff people from different faith lived close by each other this is it. A must visit for everyone. We then headed for lunch in front of the pyramids with such amazing views. After lunch we headed for the Giza pyramids and then the sphinx all the while being kept informed by halemoo, the city traffic is congested but not on standstill we were taken to our 5 star stay for the night overlooking the pyramids. The next day halemooo was bright and early ready to start the day, we headed off to Egyptian antiquities museum where we saw the mummies for extra 100 Egyptian pounds we then headed for lunch after lunch we went to the citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali mosque please dress appropriately as its a place of worship and guys if your shorts covers your knees then it’s ok after that we went to khan el khalili market the oldest market in Middle East a must visit and haggle your way, we told halemooo what we wanted to buy and he took us to those shops and haggled for us when the shop keepers weren’t budging from their price he went out of his way to get us a good deal for both Us and the shopkeepers. He then took us to the airport to see us go back to hurghada it was sad to say goodbye to halemooo as me and my friends bonded with him really well and Ismail our driver. Also I want to add Ahmed Sameer the senior tour operator he was constantly in touch with me via whatsapp and easing any worries me and my friends had so a big big thanks to you, Mohammed Hussain in Luxor and last but not least halemooo Ahmed from Cairo you guys made our trip awesome and a great holiday that we will all remember in a very long time and every time I visit Egypt I will make sure I contact you for any excursions as you and your staff has been exceptional. People trust me you guys will not be disappointed these guys go above and beyond to keep you happy you’ll be safe.

“A long journey to the Ancient Egypt”
Took me some time to rest from this beautiful journey to the Ancient Egypt.
My mind is still full of impressions of all the things that we have seen.
As we were preparing our holidays in Egypt, we wanted to visit as many sites as possible in a short period of time.
We found ETP here on trip advisor and started communicating with Mr. Sameer. We did exchange 40+ emails with him. We wanted him to make some changes to the original “3 Day Egypt Highlights From Hurghada” that ETP is offering, since we have already been in Egypt on several occasions and we wanted to see some sites that are not so popular these days. We changed our pickup point several times; some of the sites that we planned to visit were closed in the meantime, so Mr. Sameer faced many challenges to indulge us.
We had some issues regarding advance payment from Serbia, but Mr. Sameer enabled us to pay when we arrive in Egypt

I will go chronologically from the beginning of our trip.

Day 1.
The driver picked us up at hotel in El Gouna, short smooth drive to Hurgada airport.
We got our boarding passes in a few seconds (both passes for Cairo and for Aswan).
Ibrahim, our guide, met us with no trouble, got in the van and started our day in Cairo.
Ibrahim gave us a quick and very detailed schedule.
First we went to Egyptian museum, waited for 20 minutes to be opened. Took some pictures outside and then went inside. We were among the first people inside so it was not crowded.
His story and his lectures were amazing and also his choices what to see inside the Museum. We told him what pieces we wanted to see and we did it.
The tour took about 2 hours.
We then took the way to Giza and got a nice story about pharaohs and pyramids. We told Ibrahim that we prefer to eat somewhere near the Pyramids and that we would like to eat shawarma on the street. Nice shawarma in front of the Pyramids.
We then took a pyramids tour. We did the climbing in the great pyramid.
We went then to the Spynx.
Ibrahim then took us to the airport just on time to get the plane to Aswan.
The flight was nice.
The ETP guy picked us up on the airport and delivered us to the hotel.
– very tight schedule because of the timing of the flight to Aswan (the later flight would gave us more time in Cairo, but with consequences to Aswan/Abu Simbel trip).
-the museum in Cairo is hot & humid and in a much more worse state than I thought. It has not anything to do with ETP, I have to write it.
My rate for organization and the crew is 10 out of 10 points.

Day 2.
Started early at 4 am in a well-organized and protected convoy.
Nice and smooth drive with one pit/cigarette stop in the desert and one toilet stop. It took little over 3 hours to arrive in Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel is gorgeous.
On the way back to Aswan we visited the Philae island and unfinished obelisk, they both were as we expected.
Got back to the hotel.
Downsides for day 2
– issues with the hard beds in hotel, I will deal with them separately on TripAdvisor
My points for organization 10/10

Day 3.
On our surprise the train did leave the station rather on time 🙂
A/C working inside, friendly people, all went very smooth.
Mohamad met us on the station; we went for the East bank.
We were specific about sites that we wanted to visit. As we were talking with Mohamad about our schedule in KV we did let him to decide which tombs to visit. And his choice was perfect. His knowledge was amazing. All those details that we could not possibly know.
Continuing to noble’s valley. Amazing amazing amazing.
Totally new experience for us to be with a perfect guide INSIDE the tomb, telling and reading us the stories written and painted on the walls and ceilings!!!!
Made us cry… For real….
Pity that we were lone visitors in weeks…
Then the stories about the workers village and Mohamad explaining us about everyday life and hierarchy and organization of the workers.
Ramesses III temple is a beauty for itself. Impressive. Mohamad told us so many stories and facts about this pharaoh.
Then, thanking to my aching spine and ETP efficiency to organize the fourth day we went to Luxor city. McDonald’s takeaway was our choice for the lunch, because we wanted to get some rest in hotel before night visit to the Luxor temple.
We were a little disappointed to find out that the Luxor museum was closed for visitors.
We went to the hotel. Nice room. Very comfortable beds. Nice pool.
Later that evening an amazing night tour of Luxor temple. It exceeded all of our expectations. Magical.
My points for organization and crew is 10/10

Downsides for day 3.
– not visiting the Luxor museum

Day 4.
Day started with surprise to see Hoda Kamel (I read about her on TripAdvisor).
A little bit bumpy country road to Abydos, but we got the chance to see today’s rural Egypt. ETP organized very nice and powerful lunch boxes for us.
Hoda was as expected, full of facts and stories about Abydos and its history.
The temple is simply breathtaking and solely worth the prolonged journey of ours.
It is a real shame (on “ministry of ancient affairs”), such a jewel in such poor condition (surroundings, lack of visitors etc…)
Then we went to Dandara, and that was a surprise. Pristine admission point with very clean toilets. Big plus for the authorities.
Temple is mesmerizing with all carvings and paintings.
Hoda was amazingly detailed in guiding, especially about ancient religious stories and events that took place in Dandara.
We then proceeded to El Gouna.
Driver was excellent. We did make an coffee break in Desert caffe.
Downsides for day 4.
– poor roads
My points for organization and crew 10/10

Final points for the whole journey 10/10.

If you plan to do either an original 3 days trip or something like our adventure be very physically prepared.

To conclude, our journey to ancient Egypt was magnificent.

We can surely recommend ETP and Mr. Sameer here on TripAdvisor, anywhere else and to anybody.
